What is the difference between a card that can only access my Savings Account, and a card
that can access both Checking and Savings?

A card that accesses only your Savings Account has withdrawal and point of sale limitations of $300 each, smaller than those of a Debit card. With this card, you can only do six point of sale transactions per month. Unlike a card linking to your Checking Account, Cash Advances cannot be done at other financial institutions. In general, a card linked only to your Savings Account is less flexible than one linked to your Checking Account, although this is sufficient for some members’ needs.

How much can I withdraw daily using my Debit Card?

For your protection, the daily limit is $2000 for purchases, $500 from POS & ATM machines (or a maximum of 20 total transactions per day).

For your protection, the daily limit is $300 for point-of-sale purchases and $300 at ATM machines (or a maximum of 20 total transactions per day).

Can I use my Debit Card to get cash at another financial institution?

Yes, you can use your card at any bank or credit union that honors these types of transactions. Simply ask for a cash advance. Withdrawals will automatically be deducted from your Checking Account.

When are funds available at an ATM if I make a deposit at an ATM?

It depends. Funds from any deposits made at automated teller machines (ATMs) we do not own or operate will not be available until the fifth business day after the date of your deposit.

Funds from deposits made at ATMs we own or operate will be available on the next business day after the date of your deposit. A maximum deposit of $5,000 per day is permitted.

When are funds available at an ATM if I make a deposit at the credit union?

Your new balance is available for immediate use at ATM machines and for debit card purchases.

Does the credit union charge a fee when I use my debit card at an ATM?

Each account is allowed four (4) free PIN-activated transactions per month. These transactions include inquiries, ATM withdrawals, ATM deposits, balance transfers, and point-of-sale purchases. Each transaction over four (4) is charged a $1.00 fee per transaction. Debit Card non-PIN activated purchases are always fee-free. If you use an automated teller machine that is not owned or operated by us, you may incur a fee.

What if I lost my ATM or Debit Card?

During business hours, you can call the credit union office and talk to our Card Services Department at 814-456-6231 ext. 118. Your card will be blocked, and we will issue a new card as soon as possible. There will be a $8.00 fee to replace the card. If you lose your card while the credit union is closed, please call 1-800-528-2273 to report your card lost or stolen. Call our Card Services Department the next business day to reorder your card.

What is the age requirement for an ATM or Debit Card?

You must be 16 years or older to apply for a Debit or ATM card. If you are under 18 years old, then the joint owner on the account must give permission. The joint owner must be a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult 18 years or older of the primary owner that is on the account.

How can I change my PIN number for my ATM or Debit Card?

You may change your PIN at one of our ATM locations, in person at a branch or through our Online Banking by submitting a Message stating your name, account number, last 4 digits of your card and the new PIN number you would like to change it to. If you are unable to do any of the above, then you may contact the Credit Union at 814-456-6231 and we can mail you a PIN mailer.

How many free PIN-based transactions do I receive per month for my ATM or Debit Card?

You receive 4 free PIN-based transactions per month. These transactions include at point-of-sale transactions, ATM withdrawals, ATM deposits, inquiries and balance transfers. Each transaction over four (4) is charged a $1.00 fee per transaction. Debit card credit, Non-PIN activated purchase are ALWAYS FREE! 

How can I activate my ATM or Debit Card?

You may activate your card at any ATM machine, or in person by stopping into a branch.

When should I receive my ATM or Debit Card?

Your card should arrive in 7-10 business days. Your PIN and card will come in two separate envelopes or mailings.

Why is my ATM or Debit Card blocked due to too many invalid PIN attempts?

You can go to any one of the Credit Union ATM machines and type in the correct PIN to unblock your card. Otherwise you may change your PIN in person at a branch, or through our Online Banking by submitting a Message stating your name, account number, last 4 digits of your card and the new PIN number you would like to change it to. If you are unable to do any of the above, then you may contact the Credit Union at 814-456-6231 and we can mail you a PIN mailer. 

What if my ATM or Debit Card was captured at an ATM machine?

If it is one of our Credit Union Debit or ATM cards, and the ATM machine used is located at one of our branches - you may go into the Credit Union if it is currently open to retrieve it with proper identification. If you used another ATM location or the Credit Union is closed, please contact the Credit Union at 814-456-6231, ext. 118 or go through on Online Banking and send a Message to the Credit Union in regards to your card and the status of the card.
